Savory Fried Enoki Mushrooms with Creamy Miso Peanut Dip

Golden brown and crunchy on the outside, tender on the inside – served with Chili Crunch and an aromatic dip, they are the perfect highlight for variety in your weekly meal plan.

Recipe: Spicy Fried Enoki Mushrooms with Creamy Miso Peanut Dip

The enoki mushrooms are coated in a thick batter made from starch, flour, and spices, then fried or deep-fried until crispy, and served with Chili Crunch and our creamy Miso Peanut Dip. Perfect as a snack, topping, or side dish as part of your Batch Cooking weekly plan.

Here's how it's done

Prepared on Prep Day

  • Enoki mushrooms
  • Chili Crunch 
  • Signature Dip

Mix batter (in small mixing bowl)

  • 40 g cornstarch

  • 40 g flour

  • 1 tsp paprika

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder

  • 80–100 ml sparkling water

  • 1 tsp soy sauce + 1 tsp chili crunch oil for flavor

    The batter must be thick.

Preparation


  1. Dip enoki in batter
  2. Fry or deep-fry until crispy
  3. Serve with Chili Crunch + Signature Dip

Our Prep Day Tip

For a smooth Prep Day, a few practical helpers are indispensable. Mixing bowls with glass lids are particularly important. They are excellent for storing marinades, dressings, or prepared ingredients without them drying out or mixing. Mixing bowls made of stainless steel are particularly robust and durable, and also hygienic and dishwasher-safe – perfect for the whole week.


Another helper that you can't do without in your kitchen is the cutting board made of wood fiber. It is antibacterial, gentle on knives, and can even be cleaned in the dishwasher. This allows vegetables, herbs, or other ingredients to be prepared especially hygienically and comfortably.


Tip: Prepare sauces like Miso Dressing or Chili Crunch directly in the mixing bowls with lids, then you can portion them immediately and store them in the refrigerator.
