B-Stock: Vacuum Pump – Functional, but with Limitations
This vacuum pump comes from an older production batch and may significantly deform metal lids in some applications. In some cases, this can create such severe dents that the lids cannot be reused multiple times – the vacuum may then no longer hold reliably.
Specifically, this means:
- The pump is technically fully functional.
- It creates a vacuum with functioning lids.
- However: It can happen that the lid (plate) is so severely deformed after use that it cannot be reused multiple times.
Why we still offer it
Because we are reluctant to dispose of functional products – and for simple applications, the pump still serves its purpose. At the request of our community, we are offering this vacuum pump as B-stock despite minor flaws – for everyone who still wants to use it.
However, if you would prefer to use our optimized, new vacuum pump directly, you can find it here.
Important to know
- While supplies last.
- Sold as B-stock without warranty for multi-use lids.

Regular and Wide refer to the size of the glass opening. The glass opening is crucial for the combination of accessories. You can find more information in our Mason Jar Guide .
How our vacuum pump works
There are two attachments for your vacuum sealer: one for wide mouth and one for regular mouth mason jars.
Attaching the Regular Mouth attachment:
- Align the red arrow on the Regular Mouth attachment
on the release symbol on the pump. - Insert the attachment into the silicone ring on the pump.
- Turn the attachment anti-clockwise until the red arrow points to the lock symbol and clicks into place. You can now use the pump to vacuum seal regular-mouth jars.
Attaching the Wide Mouth attachment:
- Turn the Regular Mouth attachment clockwise.
- Remove the Regular Mouth attachment after you hear a "click".
- Attach the Wide Mouth attachment in the same way as the Regular Mouth attachment.
