Veggie noodles with the spiral cutter
Who doesn't love pasta dishes with delicious sauces? If only it weren't for that stupid gluten and the many calories... But who says that pasta always has to be made of grain and cooked? You can also cut raw vegetables into spirals with a practical spiralizer and use them to conjure up delicious low-carb veggie noodles in your FAVORITE JAR.
What can you do with a spiral cutter?
A vegetable peeler is a great tool for peeling vegetables, and you can also use it to create spirals once you've practiced a bit. A spiralizer , however, is unbeatable. You can use this to make the well-known and popular zoodles, or "noodles" made from zucchini . You do need a good portion of this vegetable, as zucchini contains a lot of water, but there is no cooking time, as zoodles are usually eaten raw with a sauce of your choice . Of course, you can also fry them briefly in oil or heat them up in a sauce if you want a warm dish. However, you shouldn't do this for too long, otherwise the zoodles will become too mushy and water down your sauce.
Which vegetables can you use for veggie noodles?
As with almost everything in life, there are no limits to your wishes and preferences. Various vegetables - especially zucchini, cucumbers, carrots, sweet potatoes, potatoes, radishes, onions and raw beetroot - or even fruits can be shaped into attractive shapes using the spiral cutter. Long vegetables are ideal for long spirals reminiscent of spaghetti or tagliatelle, which you can then use to create great pasta alternatives . You can use shorter spirals, for example made from apples, as a topping on your overnight oats as in our recipe here or on your Buddha Bowl if you want to give them an appetizing look.
Because the raw fruits and vegetables in spiral form – preferably organic – are not only a healthy alternative to grain noodles, but also make your other dishes look delicious as a decoration on top.
How does the spiral cutter work?
With With our stainless steel spiral cutter for your favorite glass , you can easily shape vegetables into different shapes. The great thing is that the spiralizer can be easily screwed onto your FAVORITE GLASS, for example the Wide 475 ml . This means that the spirals fall cleanly and neatly into the glass . The best thing? You can also store the zoodles in it if you don't use them straight away.
Our spiral cutter also has three different blades with which you can create different shapes.
This is how a spiral cutter works: Choose your desired blade and your favorite vegetable, press it onto the spiralizer and turn it at the same time. Do this until you have reached your desired spiral length. Then you can lift the vegetable and press and turn it again.
Our spiral cutter is made of stainless steel so that it is hygienic and does not discolor. It can be combined with your FAVORITE GLASS , or of course with a size smaller or larger.
If you ever get into the spiral frenzy and make too many, you can easily store them in your FAVORITE JAR in the fridge.

Recipe idea: Asian veggie noodles with cucumber and sesame
What you need:
- 1 Ball Mason Jar | Wide | 475ml
- 1 cucumber (medium-sized)
- 1 carrot
- 1/4 red onion
- 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
- 1/2 lime
- some honey and salt
- 1 teaspoon sesame seeds
- 1 teaspoon fresh coriander
And here's how it works:
Wash your vegetables and use the spiral cutter to cut cucumber, carrots and onions into the desired zoodle shape. Mix the dressing in a small glass : rice vinegar, lime juice, a little salt and honey to taste. Mix the dressing with the veggie noodles and add sesame and coriander as a topping. By the way, dressing can be stored wonderfully in the small quilted glass for a second portion or meal prep. This way the salad stays fresh and doesn't get mushy.
