Recipe: Turmeric-Mango Spritz
Preparation for your drink
For this recipe, you will need active Turmeric Bug. Please plan ahead and start your Turmeric Bug at least 5-7 days before preparing the drink. We will show you how to do this in our guide on starting your Turmeric Bug.
Ingredients
- 4 tbsp Turmeric Bug (active & fizzy)
- 200 ml water
- 2 tbsp fresh passion fruit pulp (from 1/2 fruit)
- 3 tbsp very ripe mango, finely diced
- 1 tsp fresh lime juice
- optional: ½ tsp honey or agave syrup
Preparation of the drink
(2nd fermentation)
Prepare mango and passion fruit (do not puree - chunks are desired).
Pour all ingredients into a clean Lieblingsglas.
Seal tightly and ferment for 24-48 hours at room temperature.
Then chill.
Serve
- Serve over ice in a Ripple Jar 0.4l
- Garnish with:
- ½ passion fruit (placed open)
- fresh mint or lime zest
- Optional: top up with sparkling water
