Time for an upgrade: From tinplate to stainless steel
Our Mason Jars accompany you through everyday life - during meal prep, fermentation, or in the pantry.
Now they're getting an upgrade: We're replacing the two-piece tinplate lid with a one-piece stainless steel lid.
And you know what?
This change didn't just come from us - but also from you. Many customers wanted us to offer a more durable, rust-free alternative.
Your wish is now a reality.
Why we love the new lid:
- More sustainable - durable and rust-free
- More practical - dishwasher-safe & hygienic
- High-quality look - minimalistic, robust, modern
In short: Your favorite jar is now even better - because you told us what's important to you.
You order. We think along.
The transition will be gradual – and you don't have to do anything. We'll make sure you get what you need:
Are you ordering a jar with the old tinplate lid?
➝ We will automatically add the new stainless steel lid to your cart.
Are you ordering accessories (e.g., a lemon press) that work with a ring?
➝ We will automatically add the stainless steel ring if your jar already has the new lid.
The goal:
You can use all accessories as usual – without complicated reordering or inquiries.
It's never going to be cheaper than this.
During the transition, you will receive our new stainless steel components at a special price:
- Stainless steel lid: €0.40
→ after the transition, a €1.00 surcharge on jars - Stainless steel ring: €0.30
→ after the transition, a €0.50 surcharge on accessories
The actual value:
- Lids in a set of 2: €5 → €2.50 per piece
- Ring: €1.90
Meaning for you: Buying now is doubly worthwhile!
Accessories & Stainless Steel Ring
Many of our accessories – such as the citrus press or the spiralizer – require a ring to function correctly. During the transition, we will automatically check your order and add the stainless steel ring to your cart if you need it.
What happens after the transition?
Then the stainless steel ring will be an integral part of the accessory – meaning it will be included directly in the packaging. You won't need to select anything extra, and you won't see it separately in your shopping cart anymore.
Good to know:
If you already have a suitable ring, you can, of course, use the accessory without any problems. But if you're unsure: Our system (still during the transition) recognizes if you need one – and automatically adds it to your shopping cart.
