Recipe for chocolate muffins in Oleni Mason Jars
Ingredients
for 4 Oleni Mason Jars 300 ml:
For the muffins:
- 100 g dark chocolate
- 100 g butter
- 150 g sugar
- 2 eggs
- 120 ml milk
- 150 g flour
- 20 g cocoa powder
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 pinch of salt
For the glaze:
- 100 g dark chocolate
- 30 g butter
For decoration:
- Pink sprinkles (e.g. hearts or sugar decorations)

- Preheat oven to 180 °C (top/bottom heat).
- Clean and lightly grease jars.

Make the dough:
- Melt chocolate and butter in a bain-marie or microwave and let cool.
- Beat sugar and eggs until frothy in a bowl, slowly stir in the melted chocolate mixture.
- Add milk and mix well.
- Mix flour, cocoa powder, baking powder and salt and stir into the liquid mixture until a smooth dough is formed.

- Distribute the dough evenly among the jars (fill only halfway, as the muffins will rise).
- Place jars on a baking tray and bake for 20–25 minutes. Test with a wooden skewer to see if the dough is cooked through.
- Let the jars cool.
