Especially on warm spring days or mild summer evenings, this drink provides an invigorating refreshment. Whether at a relaxed brunch with friends and family, as an elegant aperitif before dinner, or simply as a special moment of enjoyment in between – this spritz suits every occasion.

It can be enjoyed individually in a particularly versatile way: pure for an intense aroma, with sparkling water for a tingling note, or with a splash of prosecco for a refined touch.

Ingredients (for 4x Ripple Mason Jars | 0.4 L)

• 4 tsp flower sugar (mixture of sugar, dried edible flowers like roses, cornflowers or lavender)
• 3 grapefruits (freshly squeezed, approx. 320 ml)
• 2 oranges (freshly squeezed, approx. 200 ml)
• 40 ml orange blossom water
• 40 ml honey
• 200 ml sparkling water or 400 ml prosecco
• Ice cubes with flowers from the ice cube tray
• Grapefruit zest, edible flowers for decoration

Preparation

Prepare flower ice cubes:

Place edible flowers in the ice cube tray, fill with water and freeze for approx. 4-5 hours.

Prepare flower sugar rim:

Mix sugar with the remaining flowers. Place flower sugar in a shallow dish, moisten the glass rims with some grapefruit juice and dip into the mixture.

Mix:

Thoroughly mix the freshly squeezed grapefruit and orange juice with orange blossom water and honey.

Add ice to glasses & fill:

Fill our 4x Ripple Mason Jars | 0.4 L with ice cubes and distribute the juice mixture evenly (approx. 130 ml per glass).

Add approx. 50 ml sparkling water or optionally prosecco to each glass and stir carefully.

Decorate & Serve:

Garnish with grapefruit zest or edible flowers.
