What you need:
baked apple mixture
  • 150 g apples
  • 100 ml apple juice
  • 20 g raw cane sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon gingerbread spice
  • 1 vanilla pod
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch
mascarpone cream
  • 120 ml whipped cream
  • 120 g mascarpone
  • 100 g low-fat curd cheese
  • 1/2 packet of vanilla sugar
for sprinkling
  • vanilla powder almond brittle
And here's how it works:
For the baked apple mixture, peel and core the apples and dice finely. Scrape out the vanilla pod and put the pulp together with the pod, the apples, raw cane sugar, gingerbread spice and 100 ml of the apple juice in a saucepan and bring to the boil. Simmer for 3 minutes.
Mix the remaining apple juice with the cornstarch, add to the pot and simmer briefly. Then divide the mixture between the Ball Mason Jar | Quilted | 120 ml and leave to cool.
For the mascarpone cream, whip the cream until stiff and stir in the mascarpone, low-fat curd cheese and vanilla sugar until smooth.
Spread over the cooled baked apple mixture and place in the refrigerator.
