The recipe: Green beans on Spanish Romesco

Now for the heart of this post – the recipe for braised green beans with Spanish romesco sauce .

What you need:

  • 500g green beans
  • 1 bunch of spring onions
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • salt & pepper
  • Edible flowers

And here's how it works:

  1. Preparation: Wash the green beans and cut off the ends. Clean the spring onions and wash them too.
  2. Baking: Mix the beans and spring onions with the olive oil on a baking tray. Roast in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 15 minutes or until the vegetables are soft, turning halfway through cooking.
  3. To serve: Spread half of the Romesco sauce on a serving platter. Arrange the baked beans and spring onions on top. Season with salt and pepper and sprinkle with edible flowers.
  4. Serving: Serve with the remaining Romesco sauce. To complete the dish, we recommend combining the green beans with pork tenderloin, fig glaze and herbs.
